Useful Guides to Helping You Live Long and Healthy...

Have a Sense of Meaning

One’s meaning, purpose, or goal in life can be very simple, and it doesn’t have to be very complicated. A sense of meaning can be derived straight from volunteer work (Look at the Red Cross), one’s rule as a parent or grand-parent, or as an attachment to a specific team/organization such as the Red Socks. Retirees who organize their daily plans to accommodate to their goals live longer than those who chose to not.

For example, a University of Michigan study discovered that men who did volunteer work at least once a week were two and a half times less likely to die compared to those that did none. Some-other tips that are good to remember for keeping your social health up is to keep your confidence and self-esteem nice and high.

You should never go around thinking that people are better than you or that you’re inferior to anyone regardless of money or prestige because we all breathe the same air and use the bathroom just like my old man would say. Start today to start making better use of your time. You can tutor, start an awesome car wash fundraiser, and work for something that you admire greatly.
